Call Me
The first time I heard this band, I would have sworn that the singer was African American. You could imagine my surprise when I saw who was really singing. Wow! Great voice. You totally fooled me. Such a soulful voice.
Cold Desert When this album first came out, this was my absolute favorite song on it, even despite all the hits. This song invoked such a deep feelings inside me. Such raw, honest emotions.
Someone to Pull the Trigger What ever happened to Matthew Sweet? He was one of my favorites from the 90's. This song has such heavy subject matter, but is beautifully put to song.
Camera One
Another song about suicide. Why am I drawn to these songs? I swear, I'm not suicidal or depressed. I just love lyrics and emotions in songs. No need to stage an intervention.
